毎年12月第2金曜日に六本木のチャペルで開催されるチャリティーコンサート「A Christmas Gift」
世界的ジャズボーカリストCharitoが主催し、友人や生徒たちと共に開催します。
活動で得られた資金は東京とフィリピン・マニラに食料、衣料、医薬品などを提供しています。
This charity concert is held annually in December organized by Because We Care group led by Charito, a world class jazz vocalist and educator together with her friends and students held at the Franciscan Chapel Center in Roppongi.
This fund raising concert is for the benefit of childrenʼs institutions in Japanese an the Philippines.

We are looking forward to the 18th “A Christmas Gift” concert this year where we will feature the choir singing beautiful classic and jazzy Christmas songs.

300人以上の観客が入る会場にクールなEnglishSongを響かせるため、世界的なJazzシンガーCharitoによる練習を行います。
本格的なJAZZ レッスンを行います。やる気があれば、ここでドンドン歌唱力を伸ばすことも可能です。
Lessons will be held and conducted by Charito to create a beautiful and harmonious choir sound that will resonate at the venue with a capacity of more than 300 people. Once motivated, you can also extend your singing ability through concentrated vocal lessons.

イベント当日は朝から準備します。会場設営や機材運びもメンバーで行います。できるだけ手作りでやるやりがいあるイベントです。炊き出し、受付、照明、PAなど募集しています。各自の長所を出し合って素敵なイベントを作りましょう。
This special event is created by our own staff and members. All together we prepare from morning on the day of the event. We set up the venue, carry equipment, decorate and prepare food as well. We are also looking for reception, lighting, sound and stage staff etc. With combined efforts using our gifts and strengths, this becomes a very rewarding event for all of us. We invite you to come and join us.

Letʼs DO volunteer work
収益金はチャリートの母国フィリピンの重度身体障害児施設や養育施設などへの医薬品や食料品の提供、あるいは孤児たちの学資、また日本の児童養護施設などに毎年寄付されています。
その寄付先については本団体の代表者でもあるチャリートはじめ、スタッフが調査しています。
The proceeds of this event are donated annually to the provision ofmedicines and food items to severely handicapped child care institutions and care facilities in the Philippines’ home country of Charito, or to orphans’ scholarships, and also to children ‘s nursing homes in Japan.
All donations are closely monitored by staff and our head representative, Charito to make sure they are used and distributed wisely.

すべての人の心にある“終わりのない愛”をテーマにCharitoが作詞した「A Moment of Change」は、このコンサートのテーマソングになっています。
”A Moment of Change” with lyrics written by Charito about the “love with no bounds“ in the hearts of everyone is the theme song of this concert.
Timeline Schedule
準備は7月から始まります。
7月に顔合わせと選曲。8月～11月に月2回の練習。12月にはリハーサルと本番があります。
Preparation begins in July.
Meeting and selection of members in July. Regular rehearsals twice a month from August to November.
